One of the famously infamous Algonquin Round Table (supposedly named for Chief Algonquin of the NYS Algonquins and his hand-crafted dining table), the author (when he admits it [Introduction by Sidney Namlerep; Preface by Robert Benchley (if you can believe that!]) takes a cut at books, advertising, magazines, movies, columnists, socialites, and himself. A good book for a hot summer quarantine or a cold winter snowbound vacation.
