Book Review of Murder in Sin City : The Death of a Las Vegas Casino Boss

Murder in Sin City : The Death of a Las Vegas Casino Boss

Found this a very average true-crime book. Perhaps the people were more interesting to those with more knowledge about the culture of Las Vegas. A gold-digger marries a casino mogul and plots to kill him. He either overdoses on the drugs he loved or she and her lover do indeed exterminate him. Many details of business transactions, projects, background crimes, etc. pad the book. What seemed missing was real emotions, actual relationships, and any resulting fallout from the death. I just could not relate to these people. The pictures selected for the book fail to portray the murderess as fascinating or beautiful though the author raves about her desirability. Just unsatisfied with what I read.
