Having read the biographies of William Powell and Myrna Loy individually (by Charles Rivers Editors), re-reading them woven together was like catching another showing of The Thin Man. You know what the plot is but you enjoy watching it again anyway. Individually and together, they were warm, personable, and oh-so-comfortable.

I thought the information about William Powell was more enlightening than the bio of Myrna Loy. For her, it is mostly a recording of her various roles and how she climbed the ladder of success in Hollywood. It really doesn't dwell on her personal life, away from Hollywood. Obviously, Myrna had no children but it is surprising there was so little about her 4 husbands.
