This is my first book by DePaul and I was impressed. Usually a female character with a chip on her shoulder in a male dominated field would annoy me, but everything about Carrie made sense. I can definitely see both sides of the arguments when it came to Jase and Carrie.

You know right away who the killers are, the suspense part of the story is more about how they are going to catch the bad guys. I like the take on the killers.

The only problem I had was towards the end when the killer lured them into the final battle scene. But despite that it was a good suspense/romance novel.
