What can I say about this book?
Did I like it?

I friggin' LOVED it! I'm in the process of reading every book about drug addiction and this is at the top of that list. The writer can definitely write. It's closer to poetry than prose. At fist I didn't like it. Then I read a couple other books on the same topic. Let me say. Junkies are not great writers. But this one is. I read it in about a week, which is fast for me. I'm looking forward to re-reading it.
If you like gritty dirty realism look no further. Now, he's no Bukowski, but who is. I wish he would have written more books. But he moved onto writing screenplays and now is a big-time Hollywood Director.
If you like low-life gritty stories about heroin addiction, look no further.
