A fascinating look at how the American Indians used a variety of native plants, such as pricly pears, Bitteroot, wild grapes, Yellow Skunk Cabbage, etc. It's an easy to read book (not at all scholarly) and includes drawings of the various plants. A nice introduction to ethnobotany.
