Claire Morgan moved to Lake of the Ozarks (I lived there in the 60's!) when a celebrity is found murdered in the water, this leads her to famous Doctor and the consequences of their relationship, Claire has been hiding from her sordid past as a LA cop and Dr. Black brings her to face her past along with her involvement with the murder case that he is deeply involved in.

I like this series because for every mention of the area around Lake Ozark I know exactly where they are talking about!
