The other two books in the series were so much better. I was looking forward to Declan and Pelicia's story and was disappointed by it. I found their chemistry a little flat and their dialogue boring. The idea had so much promise too. Their thoughts were redundant. I got really tired of hearing how everything was "my fault." Then out of nowhere Pel agreed that she was unjust in being angry at him for using her in the past. Also, Pel acted like an idiot in certain scenes. I don't want to spoil the ending but it's like watching a horror movie and seeing the girls walk into the basement after hearing a scary sound. For some reason, the transitions between scenes weren't smooth. Perhaps it was because the characters were confused so the book seemed choppy?
The story itself was okay. I would recommend it if you can borrow it from somewhere and if you are into this series. But I wouldn't spend real money on it.
