He paints a beautiful and unforgettble portrait of a mother and daughter brought together out of desperation but whose lives ultimately provide an uplifting, redemptive story. This book is a inspirational memoir, a testament to the human spirit and to the ablility of families to reuinite when it matters the most. A rare glimpse in the personal life of a well know author, very moving. Great read.
