Yes, nice, only nice. If not for the sex scenes (which are numerous but not erotica by any means) I'd think it was written by a teenager. Everthing was just as a fantasy should be-the bad people were horrible and the good people were super nice, the newly brave lead says the right things at the right time, and everything is wrapped up with a neat little bow. Maggie, the poor downtrodden history teacher dumps her boyfriend and suddenly is desired by 3 of the 4 hottest brothers in town and one other person who becomes her stalker. Within weeks she is practically adopted by her new boyfriend's family; is kidnapped by her stalker and saved from rape at the very last second by the sheriff; fights off the nasty sluts who want her man, and testifies at her stalker's trial, where he is convicted of course. The mother and sister are both evil and the father, who has ignored her until now, suddenly realizes, after a public scene, that his wife is evil and decides to divorce her. 28 years of private humiliation didn't register but one public scene opens his eyes. Hmm. Honestly the only thing missing was Maggie winning "Teacher of the Year", that would have been the cherry on top. I'm surprised the author didn't think of it. As for the sex, I've read Silhouette Intimate Moments that were hotter than this. As there are 4 brothers and none of the others are hitched, I assume we'll be seeing more from this author. I'm hoping she can put some character in her characters.
