While Nick is doing his best to track down a master-mind genieus, he is constantly one, no make that ten, steps behind. He fully suspects SOMEONE from the FBI is leaking information to the man, but is unable to find the source, so he starts holding information closer and closer to 'his vest'. When one of the firey murder scenes is missing the five children....and a couple of nurses, Nick sets out to find them before his nemisis can.
Janet & her best friend Michele are simply working the night shift of a special project when everything starts going crazy. They overhear a plot to kill themselves and the babies that have been in the care....and they set about to try to keep that from happening. Barely succeeding, Janet goes home to her uncle. What happens after they get there is truly enthralling and will have you on the edge of your seat. You will laugh, cry and pull your hair out with Janet and her Uncle as they strive to do things to the best of their ability. When they are finally found....the outcome is totally captivating. I rate this book a 5/5. As soon as it is on the shelves....you NEED to go and find it. It is the first in a series, and I can't wait to see the rest of them! This book is appropriate for youth as well as adults.
