I was not at all sure what to expect with this book given the strange name. I ended up listening to it on audio and I cant imagine it any other way.Audio was a perfect way to express the authors intentions with different voices reading for different characters. The readers were WONDERFUL and the story was a refreshing and different take on WWII and the German occupation. I highly recommend the audio version if you dont hear the different "voices" in your imagination while reading. I see why it was on the best seller list for so long.
