This is the story of two sisters who have lost touch with each other in adulthood after being close as children. Neither has the life she imagined for herself. An unexpected opportunity arises which bring big changes for both women. Then a looming hurricane complicates life for all involved.

I liked this book - it was perfect to read during summer. Much of the book takes place on a dairy farm which matches my childhood so I enjoyed those details. Just when I thought the plot was going in predictable directions, the author surprised me - a definite plus.
