Carol (BookLover4Ever)
Carol's creeping up on her tenth anniversary of PaperBackSwap membership! She's sent out more than 1000 books, and has a basically perfect swapping record.
" She's so sweet! There are many reasons for this vote, but the main one is that she's a very thoughtful person:)"
"She has been my game moderator and is always helpful."
"She has such a positive outlook and it's contagious! I love the themes for her Games - for example, a recent game was to celebrate Friendship Day, Happiness Happens Day and Book Lover Day...all of them in August. What a wonderful way to make a Game meaningful."
Strong swapper, Great Gamer - Carol, you have clearly brought joy to the PaperBackSwap Community You are Member of the Month for August. Congratulations!
DEAR LIBRARIAN
Dear Librarian - I'm not all that technically inclined. I don't even belong to Facebook, and I'm not sure how to participate in the Reader Review Contest?! -- Want to Play in Santa Fe
Dear Santa,
It's a Facebook contest, so you do have to have a Facebook account to be able to share a review and enter. You can still vote without a Facebook account, though! We'll announce the finalists in the Blog and Discussion Forums and Twitter (as well as on Facebook) every week, and all members can cast their votes. Since voting will be done at PaperBackSwap (not Facebook), you don't have to have a Facebook account to vote. Facebook Likes do count as extra votes, so members without Facebook accounts can't vote twice on a review, but clicking the Thumbs Up /Thumbs Down option will cast your vote from PaperBackSwap.
Depending on how this goes, we may be making other (non-Facebook) contests in future, so stay tuned!
