Indian Village is a great elementary school, but it's also in a very low income neighborhood. We are a a Title I school with over 85% of our students this year come from a low income household and many have no access to books at home.
Most of these students don’t have access to books outside of the school library and I want to help change that. In order to get children to become better students, they need to become better readers and the only way to do that is to put books in their hand and strive to put books in their hands!
