Very good book, a classic that I think all children need to read between the ages of 12 and 18.

This book is a masterpiece and unquestionably one of the finest I've ever read. It's written with an elegance that is superb and is writing at it's best. It has joined my top 10 beside "Platero by Juan Ramon Jimenez," "Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O'Dell" "Breathing Lessons by Anne Tyler," "The Blue Whale by Stanislao Nievo," and "Watership Down."
