A young woman's fear of her husband's violence and power have her running with her young son. A man who recognized the look in her eyes and somehow knew the person hidden inside wants to help. He follows her bringing along his love for her. Of course, he brings danger and fear as well. Great story!

Audrey has an outwardly beautiful life and handsome husband, but is being horribly abused by him. She finally decides to try to run away, but former prosecutor Nicholas keeps interfering. He suspects the abuse that's going on and wants to make it right.
