Weekend Warriors is a MUST READ book for any woman who has been unjustly treated. This is the first book in a series about women who came together to form the "Sisterhood". It all began with a birthday celebration dinner at a restraunt for wealthy Myra Rutledge. Her daughter went to get a camera from her car when she was killed by a hit-and-run driver with diplomatic immunity. Myra went on to bring the Sisterhood, a secret vigilante group of women who have been unable to seek justice through lawful means, together. This book begins the awesome stories of the sisterhood and the many different ways they get their justice. You will not beable to read just one book in this series because it has you glued to the pages and wanting more and more.
A group of women who gather to help right the wrongs done to them. I'm not into a book like this, but I loved it!! Since you get to read the first two books in one book, well worth picking up!

This is a great series. Some people might think the characters go to the extremes to extract punishment from their enemies, I applaud them. Every woman who has ever been done wrong is standing up and cheering right now!

Weekend Warriors: The Sisterhood is established, after Myra Rutledge's daughter is killed by a hit and run driver who is a diplomat and can be prosecuted. The Sisterhood is a group of 7 women who the judicial system has failed. The first case is Kathryn's, she was raped by three men at a truck stop while her husband who was disabled was forced to watch. When Kathryn's husband died, she could not bring legal action against the three because of the statue of limitations. The Sisterhood dishes out their form of vengence on the three men.
Payback: This case is Julia's, her's is two fold. First her husband is a United States Senator who has been unfaithful to her and has given her AIDS. The second part of Julia's case is a family who runs and HMO, and have denied claims and treatment which in return has lead to death of the patient or caused more complicated medical problems.
Both books are enjoyable, and I am looking forward to seeing how the other cases are handled.

A two in one book, with the initial two stories of Michaels' series centering around a band of women who vow to correct the wrongs of the justice system. I enjoyed the characters and some of the situations, others seemed bizarre. But, it was worth the read!

This book blew my mind. At last a group of women who go after men to get justice and prevail! Bravo! I cheered for this little band of savy ladies from the first page to the last. I have to admit, the book and the contents surprised me. But then, Fern Michaels never writes the same book twice, that's why I like her books. No same old, same old here. If this is going to be a new series, I can't wait to read the next one.
Each of the characters was so real and the punishment so apt. I even laughed in parts of it. Who among us doesn't want revenge for some wrong in our lives but don't have the guts to do something about it? One reviewer said the characters weren't sympathetic. Huh? Were they supposed to be sympathetic? Was Charles Bronson sympathetic when he went after the people who killed his wife and ruined his daughter? Is it okay for men to do wicked things but not women? I applaud the author, the publisher and the finely drawn characters in this fast reading book which I read in one sitting because I couldn't put it down. I also liked the cover and didn't find it trashy at all. I knew when I picked it up that it would have suspense in it because of the cover. I loved this story and can't wait to read more on the super seven females.

The Sisterhood is at it again and the revenge will be even sweeter then it was in Fern's First book Weekend Warriors.
To the outside world Dr.Julia Webster is married to a senator who has given Julia a "gift" that is going to change her life fovever.
The mission the sisterhood has to accomplish is not easy but seeking revenge will give them the stregnth and courage they need to prevail in the mission.
The book is FANTASTIC and once you start you will be hooked until the very last page.
Now we have to sit back and wait for the next mission.

THESE TWO STORIES ARE UNBELIEVABLE THEY WELL KEEP YOU GOING AND GUESSING ON ALL SORT OF THINGS I HATED TO GIVE IT AWAY BUT I AM WAITING FOR THE OTHE SEQUELS TO COME OUT ON HERE ALSO
I loved this book. It is every womans dream come true to get vengence on people who have horribly hurt you when the justice system fails. Fern Michaels is an incredible author. Her characters could be anybody that you would know in real life. I found myself rooting and cheering for the sisterhood as they plot and plan then execute the payback. Can't wait to read book 3.

I actually got hooked on this series when I read book #3 Lethal Justice. Love the series & look forward to the rest of the series. Fun & easy to read.
I read another book in the series first and decided to try and read the whole set. It was especially nice to get "two in one". I've read about 6 so far and will post them as I finish them.
