An amazing book. Touching and thoughtful story told by a Vietnamize woman, born blind, made it to US, got her eyes fixed and married an American man,got a law degree from Harvard, had two kids, traveled but got colon cancer. She tells it like it is, the fight to stay alive or not. Living with the knowledge she will not see the future. A tough woman. A touching book.
