Ok I am downloading the spreadsheet and am going to start working on results. If anyone else wants to chime in on the next challenge now would be a good time while we are waiting on results. 

Renee where the heck are you girl. I noticed you have read some of the same books I have this week. Let me know how you liked them!!

My boyz have been using my new laptop and I've been reading so I haven't been on much.

I'll be ready for the next challenge whenever and 6 or 8 weeks is fine with me.  I'm also fine with not doing reviews.  I like to do them, but I don't like to feel like I have to do them, if that makes sense.

Jamie--I LOVED Real Ugly--thought it was great.  I had read Driven before the challenge started and I loved it too.  My biggest disappointment this week was the 2nd G-Man book, Love Plus One.  The writing was just ridiculous to me at times, and I found myself rolling my eyes a lot.  The dialogue was extremely stilted--over and over, contractions should have been used and it sounded like robots were speaking.  Sometimes the gritty alpha hero sounded tough and dirty, and other times he sounded like a girl.  I mentioned in my review that at one point, he stated "the bust in Philly went down beautifully". Beautifully? I could see him saying "without a hitch" or something like that, but not beautifully.  And there was also one part where the heroine stated, "that was certainly a dangerous bunch of heathens", which was an example of something that I thought sounded ridiculous.  I felt the same way about Diamond Girl, but I liked its storyline a little better, so I enjoyed it a bit more, but I don't plan to continue with the series.  The heroes just aren't consistently alpha enough for what I expect them to be and what they are touted to be, and I just don't think I can stand reading any more of that dialogue!

I also loved Strings by Kendall Grey!  It's extremely vile and crude, so pay attention to the author's warning about the book because she's NOT exaggerating, but it's also hot and sexy and I really enjoyed the storyline.  I was pleasantly surprised!

Renee I love Real Ugly also and the next one is coming out July 5th. Have you read her book Losing Me, Finding You? It is a biker book that is pretty good. Very Alpha Males. Some people fussed about the way the heroine lost her v-card but it is fiction so it didn't bother me at all. The second in that series is coming out June 30th. 

I got all the results tallied I am just waiting to see if their is any problems with this week before I post the results. I am also working on the next challenge. I will go ahead and open it up but we won't start until July 1st since this is the most popular date. But I have one more question. Would you all like to pick your own partners or do you want me to do it?

i'm fine with you picking the partners, especially if it's just for buddy books.  they can't pick anything i don't put on the list anyway.

I have a confession to make. If only I hadn't discovered Candy Crush, I may have done better this last week.  Why, oh why, did I have to click on that app?!?!?!  Sad thing is, I'm not over it yet. I still keep grabbing for my cell to play CC rather than grabbing for my book or Kindle. Hopefully I'll work it outta my system before July 1st.
