Twice Dying is about a psychologist, Alison Chapley, who is also into some kinky/risky sex play and was once the lover of an ER chief doctor, Carroll Monks (yes, its a man). Alison works at a criminal hospital that houses violent offenders who are guilty of their crimes, but found to be not guilty by reason of insanity (aka, NGI) in a court of law. Alisons boss has created a program that once these NGI offenders are enrolled in, they are eventually found to be cured and let go after only 24 months. Once released, they are either disappearing completely or turning up dead. Alison suspects her boss has something to do with it and sets out to prove itwith Monks help.

A good read with quite a few twists and turns to keep the reader interested and always guessing whodunit.
