i have owned this book for several years . it is a pretty varied book . it has a lot of different ideas in it . it IS a good book . the reason i gave it only 4 stars is as follows :
the cooking recipes are pretty much the same as always for christmas . nothing really excitingly new . as for the crafts , they are nice , but not really a lot of them there are a few for every different craft , but not that many different projects in each category . this is not a drawback , if you are crafty and are familiar and accomplished in each one . if on the other hand you are limited , lets say to quilting and cross stich , then you have this big book and only a few projects to do . you would be better off to get a book for your particular craft and a nice christmas cookbook and you would be ahead ....

Wonderful ideas and recipes to excite the creative urge in us all..recently roved from public library...library info and markings still in and on the book......
