Spanning from the World War 2 eara through the 90's. the series of books will keep you finding time to read just one more page. My first experience with fern Michaels will keep me comming back for more.
What an exciting story of the Colemans'. This is set back during the early wars.
Great plot and characters.
Long story of a family, over many generations. Interesting and shows money isn't everything. I enjoyed the characters and the story line. I wanted the true hearts to join much sooner.

This is a story in which one can completely lose one's self. For 2 days, I was absorbed in the Coleman family and actually felt for them. I've ordered the next two in the series.
Excellent book. The beginning of the story, rich story lines and characters. Twist and turns keep you intrigue from start to finish. Strong women doing almost anything to keep the family together and Seth the father-in-law to whome nothing or noone matters except the heir.

Set in Philadelphia WWII Young girl falls for rich Navy pilot. Her money hungry mom sets him and her up for marriage. Moves to Texas and dominating father-in-law. Her strugles to make herself a strong independant woman. Covers 4 generations. Very good.
