I devote a chapter to kids with abilities and kids trying to cope with loss. Our daughters are older now, so they have included their tips for kids with the "gift," so younger children can hear the advice from those to whom they can relate.
I recount readings from spouses, children, and parents who have died through natural means or at the hands of others, including a tribute chapter for our soldiers.
On the cover, I'm holding a picture of my dad, so I thought it would be special to release my book the week of Father's Day! Coincidentally, nine years ago (2002) Father's Day was the last day I saw my dad alive. I know many of you miss your dads and granddads, too, so here's to them-the men in our lives!« less
