I have loved Mitch Albom's previous books, but this one is not my favorite. In the beginning, I had a difficult time keeping track of the many characters and in the end, I had more questions than answers. I liked the idea of the storyline, but this book didn't draw me in as the previous books had.

Many say they believe in God and call to him for help; but what would happen when God actually appeared? Interesting and thought-provoking story.

What would you do if you met a man professing to being the Lord? Believe him or discount him? When one such man is rescued from the sea after a luxury yacht sinks the rest of the survivors have to address such a decision. As the story unfolds some survivors reaffirm their belief as others build on their skepticism. As tragedy starts to affect the survivors as they succumb to the harsh environment each one must face their own belief or disbelief in the man claiming to be the Lord. Told in three settings, The Sea, The Land and The News wraps the past with the present. A life raft washes ashore on a remote island 1000's of miles from the last known position of the yacht Galaxy setting in m motion events that all seem connected and the connection eludes the reader until the end. Excellent book and fast and fun to read.
