I loved Ms Mitchard's "Cage of Stars" and "The Breakdown Lane", so I really looked forward to listening to this one. What a let-down. Two of the female characters are just unbelievably unlike-able. One is the typical know-it-all, overdramatic teen-ager, and the other is a woman who married well and is recently widowed, but doesn't appear to be mourning the fact. I gave up halfway thru the third disc. Unbelievable scenario, trite dialog, and a trying-too-hard feeling of "grrrl power".
