This is a good book with some solid advice, but I found that as a mother who works full-time outside of the home that her system really doesn't work well for me. Yes, doing a little bit each day is a good idea, but the amount to accomplish each day was well beyond what I could do in my few hours at home in the evening. But I still got enough tips and guidelines to make reading this useful.

When I joined PBS I kept hearing about the FlyLady and her system. I was curious and purchased her book. I am an orginal SHE from 1977 and the Sidetracked Sisters; Pam Young and Peggy Jones. I prefer their system to the FlyLady's system. Their 3X5 index cards works/worked wonders for me. The binder "Control Book" of FlyLady is too encumbering, too bulky for me. The FlyLady is very ardent about her system, she keeps in touch with numerous e-mails each day; reminding you and encouraging you to keep trying and not to give up or get discouraged. All in all the book is good just not what I need.

Love the Flylady, Marla Cilley. Visit www.flylady.com to learn more about her methods. I have spent countless hours reading "how to" books, but her's is the definitive one. Take the time and do this for yourself.
