This book is magnificent. It is a collection of four stories of regaining Christmas peace. All Done with the Dashing by Pamela Dowd is about a woman who gets burned out from being the only one in her extended family who does the holiday preparations, etc. No Holly, No Ivy by Wanda Luttrell is about a recently widowed woman whose grown children are all away for the holidays and so she plans to just skip the things such as fixing a large meal and decorating and such. She plans to spend the holiday alone reading a book and instead gets involved in several new ways of celebrating Christmas. My True Love Gave to Me is about a family where the husband plans a trip during the holidays and everyone objects but goes alone any way. There is another story Little Town of Progress but other than saying that it touches the heart I am not sure what to say about this one. However, all four stories in this book are wonderful. I could not put this book down.
