Not your standard romance novel - the characters were well-drawn, the plot was intricate, and it wasn't all about the bedroom. A truly romantic read. I recommend it gladly - smiled when I finished it! This was my first book by this author, I'm looking forward to finding out where else she takes readers. I think she's a very good writer.

I kind of consider this part of the Cameron Sisters novels since Fiona and Nick were featured in "In the Highlander's Bed."

I was slightly disappointed that Maxwell decided to completely change Fiona's character. She was much smarter and more sarcastic at the end of Gordon and Constance's story. Here is rather dumb but she does grow on you after Nick takes her home.

It was a sweet little romance. There was a bit of mystery and Nick ended up being a really interesting character.

A typical regency romance but very well written. Enjoyed every page.
