Highly entertaining nonfiction account of both the lives of lobsters and the people who's lives revolve around studying/catching them. The juxtaposition of human stories with lobster discoveries is both enlighteing and humorous. The chapter about Lobster mating is particularly amusing/enlightening. Very enjoyable, great for starting conversations about over lobster dinner. :)

The only drawback to this book is having to explain to my wife, why I am reading a book about lobsters. Well written with humor and a good grounding in science. Made me hunger for more lobsters and more information about these bottom dwelling crustaceans.
