This is a fun book for the verbs that you read aloud to the kids. Lots of vivid verbs and the dog is so lost when he finally gets free of a leash and is on his own. Cute beginning and ending and the colors are vibrant. Would read this aloud to my granddaughter. I will have Anne sign it at the next writer's conference.
