The ending was so disastisfying and lame that I thought for sure some of the end pages were missing. It was a promising premise, but the hero was hard to like, the family relationships weren't explored as they could have been. Very patt, very boring.

4th Book in Series. 1st book is Wicked Under the Covers (Duke of Solitea's Sister). 2nd book is Sinful Between the Sheets(The Duke of Solitea). 3rd Books is Naughty By Nature (Earl of Ramscar) 4th is Evenrod currently a Viscount. 5th is hopefully about the mysterious Lord Cadd Byrchmore. If you read the series you will enjoy the book more. There is not a lot of repetition of history from the other books in the series. All the characters from the previous books are in this book. Evenrod and Cadd are characterized as more reckless than the other two friends. They are always fighting and insulting each other. This book is about Evenrod and his banishment from his family at age 16. Twelve years later he is seeking revenge. I enjoyed the story. Lots of twists. His father and brother are one dimensional. Everything they do is to please Evenrod's Step-mother. I think it is as good as the others but it does have an abrupt ending. No wrap up of the condition of his father. No answer to who the father of his ex-mistress' baby is. I guess I'll have to wait for the next one. I am enjoying the series.
