This was another fabulous book from author Fern Michaels. It starts out with Maddy Carmichael going to her high school prom and the tragic events that happen at the prom and afterwards which cause her to flee her hometown and reinvent herself and change the outcome of different things throughout 2 decades of her life. Her mother is very neglectful and her twin brother is a creep. They never try to find her after she flees. This book was very good and I could not put it down!

I like all of Fern Michaels books, especially the Sisterhood and men of the Sisterhood series. This is a stand alone book that does not disappoint. Maddie/Molly grew up in Florida in the worst of conditions. She was raped by a bunch of her friends on prom night and left. She went to Boston and met a dentist, which was not a good life for her either. In the end, she made things happen and she felt much better about herself and her situation. Excellent read.
