NY City TV news producer Whitney Sheridan lives on a diet of caffeine, antacids, junk food, and stress - and she wouldn't havew it any other way. Her work is demanding, but its also a cocoon of security that means she never has to count on anyone else. And then comes word that her last remaining relative, her beloved Aunt Claudia, has died leaving Whitney to settle her estate in Washita, TX. Whitney intends to perform her duties and return to NY as quickly as possible closing the door on memories of the warm, happy childhood summers she spent with Aunt Claudia. What she doesn't count on is local carpenter Adam Burkett, and his unsettling way of getting under her skin.
