This series started out a little slow but it is getting better with each book. FOr those of you who have discovered Sarah Andrews' forensic geologist series, you should check these out as well. I look forward to reading the next in this series.
I'm anxiously awaiting #4 in this series; each one has been a great romp. The premise is that Frankie Macfarlane is a recent geology graduate who, in the course of finishing her field work in remote western locations, gets involved in nefarious deeds by evil doers that she must then extract herself from -- alive. Well written, exciting, not technical, just a great outdoorsy mystery.
