This was a great book. It was a little hard to get into, but since I have enjoyed this author before, I stuck with it, and am glad I did! This is about a woman trying to find herself, even though she doesn't realize that she is, or doeasn't think that she needs to. I do think that the way the author split up the chapters between past and present was confusing and unnecessary, but if you can get past that aspect of the book, this is a great read. I would recommend it!

This was such a good book. Cecelia Ahern is so good at making her characters come to life. There is a sadness and a desperation that is filled with hope and beauty. One of my favorites!

I love Cecelia Ahern, I love being able to call her one of my favorite authors but I just felt like A Place Called Here was drawn out and well, boring. I didn't even really care what happened to the main character, Sandy. It actually took my about 3 minutes to just remember her name and I've only finished the novel. I think that explains it right there. Jack was the only redeeming character. It ended up being okay but it seriously took me almost a month to read this entire book and it was only 341 pages. I can't even begin to remember how long it's been for that to happen! Sorry, I really wanted to like this but just can't
