Very interesting story. I learned alot about chimney sweeps I never knew before. This was a romance novel where the story is more interesting than the "sex scenes." I recomment it. A delightful book to read.

The Author's Description: "The Penniless Bride is a real rags to riches, Cinderella style tale. In my research I have come across plenty of mesalliances such as the case of the Lord who married the circus performer. I had the idea of a story about the daughter of a master tradesman, a man of humble origins who had bettered himself and had his daughter educated. The contrast between her early background and education intrigued me. Could she succeed as the wife of an Earl?"
