This book takes an un-edited, behind the scenes look at Disneyland. The author tells the history of the park from its founding by Disney and details about how things have changed since his death. Personal interviews with Disney insiders and employees paint a different picture from what we see on television. My only disappointment was that growing up in Southern California I had already heard about most of the dirty little secrets. It was a quick read and all-in-all I would recommend it to anyone wishing to know more than what the Disney Corp. wants you to know.

This is a behind the scenes look at Disneyland written in 1995 but has some interesting facts about the park and some of it's earliest rides and attractions. Contains some early photos of the park, explains the layout. If you were a kid in the 60's and attended the park then you will appreciate this book. Admission in 1957 was $4.00, in 1967 $5.00, in 1977 $9.00, 1987$18.00 for an all day pass. Tells about underground Disney secrets; characters; ride operators' adventures; Lawsuits at the park etc.....

Very interesting read.

Very interesting book, but a little depressing if you're a big Disney fan. I guess there are some things I'd rather not know about!
