Incredible concept for a book in today's world. However, the book falls completely short because the author goes off on tangents and you completely forget where we are in the plot. Slow moving. Take out all of the unnecessary stories and the pages and pages of rambling, and you have an incredible book.
This ranks among my all-time favorite books. The author demands that the reader lay back and trust her skill. It is trust well earned. Amid such a horrific violent environment the narrator takes us through her life story with candor and gentleness. I will not forget this book
