I really liked this book. It was a fun read. When six children of a widower try to find themselves a Ma and their Pa a wife, there's bound to be lots of laughter and blunders. Especially when Pa isn't looking for a wife. All the scheming fails, which leads to one last solution.

By far the best "Love finds you.." so far. The story line is cute, funny and keeps your attention. Being a social outcast because of her birth Ailson goes to Hope and tries to help with her deceased sister's children but the kids want a Mom.Rafe does not want a wife. This book is almost as funny as Cathy Marie Hake or Mary Connealy.

Just when Allison Stripling needs to get out of Boston and start fresh comes a letter from her brother in law who needs help with her many nieces and nephews since her sister passed away. At least, that's who Allison thought the letter was from and what better place to make a fresh start than in a town called Hope. The six cupids in this book make it a very fun read! I enjoyed it very much!

The Monroe kids' mom died a couple of years ago. The 6 of them have been having a hard time with their father, who is still mourning her loss pretty badly. They want a mother to help them and to make their dad happy. The decide they want to send for their mom's sister in Boston, who was adopted when she was a small girl and stayed closely knit to her older sister through letter-writing. Alison decides to meet her nieces and nephews, not knowing one bit what their real plan for her is. This of course makes for interesting events and some drama.

I really liked this story a lot. The characters were well developed and I think you saw the struggles really well. It made sense. My ONLY issue with this book is that they mentioned the story of Job from the Bible at one point and said he had a second wife, which is not in the Bible at all. Job's wife didn't die and it states that he had more children. His wife would not be allowed to leave him according to old Jewish law and if he took on a second wife to have children with, the point is that his first wife was still alive. That really irritated me when I read what they mentioned about Job's "second wife." I let it slide and enjoyed the story outside of that issue though!!!

Scheming children, a bitter widower and a spinster aunt. Mix them together and stir and you have a fun read. Lots of missteps between Rafe and Alison adds humor and keeps your attention.
The style of writing reminded me of the writings of Mary Connealy.
