Using block patterns with a historical background, the author presents an alphabetical array of amazing little blocks. She includes the history of each block with its pattern.
From "A is for Aircraft", to "Z is for Z Block", the directions are clear and simple. The very last pattern is for a sampler quilt made using all of the block patterns in the book. This book is a real keeper. The patterns can be made up in so many different fabrics that there is no end to the different looks for all of them.

Not a bad book - nice pictures, nice selection of blocks, but I was not expecting template directions vs rotary cutting directions.
