One of my favorite authors but I had to double check the publication page to make sure this was not a reprint of one of her earlier books. I enjoyed the story, it was a pleasant read but not up to her usual standards.
As previously stated, this is the beginning of a 4 part series about a sea-faring family. This is one of the middle brothers, the adventurer in the family. I will read more of the series and hope the pace picks up a little. The oldest brother sounded very interesting so maybe the next book will be about him.

Wow. Major disappointment. I just love Stephanie Laurens; some of her books are so fascinating. This is NOT one of them. This is the first in a series of 4, about 4 seafaring brothers, their adventures, & their romances. This book reads like the first chapter in a book. The storyline is interesting, but it leaves you hanging for the next installment. She spends most of the book talking about the hero & heroine's relationship; it sounds like a Marriage 101 class. In my opinion, sad to say, this is the worst book she has ever written.
