Pirates! What more do I need to say? Am I the only woman who wants to be a pirate? Escapism at its best.

Really like this author. Story involves a strong lady who has been on her own making decisions. She needs to fill the requirements of a will to claim her inheritance. Like how her pirate crew "helps" her to become a lady and snare the hero.

I really like Lynsay Sands' novels. They have a great touch of humor and just enough romance to make me want to stay up until 2 in the morning to finish the book! I've read all her Vamp books and was pleasantly surprised to find earlier books she'd written. Plus...this book is about pirates. You just gotta love pirates.

Circumstances had changed; they had gotten worse, Valoree no longer had to masquerade as her murdered brother and scourge the oceans as Captain Red. She no longer had to command his pirate band in a quest to regain his birthright. She had been named heir to Ainsley Castle. But no executor would ever hand over the estate to an unmarried pirate wench and her infamous crew--no matter to whom she'd been born. And the will had distinctly stated that in order to inherit, Valoree must be married to a nobleman...and pregnant.
