An award winner - classic SF. A must read
You probably know Kate Wilhelm as a romanatic/mystery writer but she wrote Scifi early in her career. Her first novel won the HUGO award and this is her second scifi book as it is equally as good. The following descripton is from the cover: In a World now ravaged by drught and famine...Jean Brighton and Arthur Cluny grew up in the limelight, children of space pioneers who built the orbiting space laboratory. Very good! I have a copy of this on my keeper shelf, I was lucky enough to find another copy at a used book store.
