A quick-moving bio of Branwell Bronte, ill-fated brother of Charlotte, Emily, and Anne. Lots of speculation, but well-founded. Of course, he only lived for 31 years and didn't actually accomplish much...

This bio offers a fascinating look into the lives of the Brontes.

For lovers of Du Maurier, this Bronte biography has her usual Gothic twists. Interesting to remember that the Bronte children had a Cornish mother. Perhaps that accounts for D's Bronte similarities and interest.
