Contrary to some of the reviews, I found this book exciting. I could hardly put it down. Although some of the scenes seem to be about the same in all her books, she is able to keep my attention. But I think that is true with a lot of authors. The sex scenes are always the same and there tends to be similarities thru all their material.

Anyway, I thought this one tied in some of the information from her previous books in this series very well. Personally, I enjoyed it and can't wait to pick up another one of her books.

Her last couple of books in this series have been a little disappointing. Perhaps I read too many too close together -- but this one held my attention much better than the last two -- I actually am glad I stuck with the series for this one and I'm will be reading the next --- This story was more interesting than some, a little darker, though I did miss her more humorous moments - not as many but still a couple of characters I want to follow up on -- It is taking a JR Ward type of turn with more emphasis on the Rogue Hunter principle but it's added another dimension to her stories so it's not a bad thing.

Having various characters do occasionally stupid things just to move the plot forward doesn't do it for me. It also has somewhat of a cliffhanger ending, no doubt to ensure that the reader will buy the next book. I will buy it because yes, I want to know how the story arc works out and because I know how great Lynsay Sands vampire books usually are, but not because of this one.

This book is a dissapointment to me. It was really hard getting through it. I had no interest in the main characters, the plot was boring. I skimmed through the sex scenes -they are always the same. Decker rescues Dani, cant read her mind and knows immediately that she's his lifemate. Meet, have sex, and love each other forever, all within a few days. No substance. This is the genre I read all the time. It was one of the most boring books I've read. Make your own decision.

I found this book exciting and as with the entire series, I could hardly put it down. Some of the scenes are the same in all her books but I think that is true with a lot of series. This book tied in some of the information from the previous books in the series and had alot of humor. I enjoyed it hope the series continues.

Although I liked the book as a whole, I think the ending was too abrupt. It was not well done for the author to end the book within two or three pages and even then leave part of the story hanging.

Not my favorite in this series.

You need to read the Rogue Hunter first then this book and definately the following book The Renegade Hunter. These three make the series over and above alot of others. Each on their own is a good read but if you want to know what happens to the people you need to read all three! This book delves more into Decker and his finding his life mate and the troubles that plague them. A good book that I found hard to puit down until I finished it! I know any reader of Ms. Sands will absolutely love this book and actually all three listed. These tie together more than her other books in the series as these pick up right where the last one left off and contain all sorts of adventure, chaos and love. Enjoy the read. I did!!
