Info could have been presented in about 10 pages, but entertaining stories fills it out to 100+. I started out reading every word, but chose to skim the last half. Regardless of what you choose to read, this book is an education! It covers all types of environments (forests to desert), and all types of activities (hiking to horseback riding to rafting). It's environmentally respecful without going over the top. I especially appreciated all the female-oriented info coming from a woman!
