This is an amazing little book. Partly biographical, and mostly encouraging about Ruth's pet gardening tips - especially mulching to prevent weeds, and feed the soil.

I've always enjoyed this fine woman's books, and this one is no exception. I like the background of her life included in the text. In fact, on the back cover I learned that Ruth Stout is sister to none other than Rex Stout (the great mystery writer) whose books you'll likely find here at PBS too.

HIGHLY recommend, especially to gardeners, wanna be gardeners, and fans of Ruth Stout.
