I haven't read this book and don't intend to. It appears to be one of those books where the author makes fast and loose with the facts to amuse those who don't really know their history. For example, the book's blurb states three cigars found wrapped in an order extended the American Civil war for four years. But the Civil War only lasted for four years in total. In began in April 1861 and ended in April 1865. Plus, the three cigars and the "lost order" were found in September 1862. The Civil War ended 2.5 years after that.
