I loved this book and I love this author! She makes me feel like I'm right there on Nantucket and know the characters personally (and want to be friends with some of them). An awesome feature at the back of the book is the author's tour guide of things to do, where to go, where to eat, etc. if you go to Nantucket. Plus tips on how to get there, phone numbers, etc. I'd love to go there some day!

Another fun read by Elin Hilderbrand, of whom I have read all her books!
And some day I really, really want to get to Nantucket! I feel like I know that island inside and out!
This book is about the crew who is renovating the hotel Nantucket after it was bought by a mysterious person, not local to the island,or even the United States. But there is one person who knows exactly who he is. People are hired to staff the hotel and the rush is on to get the hotel up and running! There is a mystery person who has a hotel blog and rates hotels all over the world, and the staff's goal is to get this person to the hotel ,and to earn the first five key rating ever given! Each staff member comes with their own baggage, and the hotel guests are mostly all enjoyable. Oh, and there's a ghost who's been haunting the hotel every since a fire burned it down so many years ago! Very fun read!

London billionaire, Xavier Darling, purchases and renovates The Hotel Nantucket. He hires Nantucket sweetheart Lisabet Keaton as his general manager and Lisabet puts together a staff who share the vision of the fate of the hotel turning it around. This book is filled with emotional tension and multiple points of view with a touch of historical reality. It would be a great summer read. It has great characters and a great plot line. I enjoyed it very much and know that you will too.
